Thoughts: Earth’s Magnetic Reversal

Good evening from the beautiful county of Surrey. It has been the most gorgeous day – wonderfully warm with clear blue skies. It is good to feel the Sun’s warming, healing rays kissing one’s skin once more.

As many good friends know, I have been watching the ongoing developments with our beautiful Planet’s protective shield, otherwise known as its magnetosphere. The topic has been a prominent area of discussion with my Sister – one she first raised a shade under 7 years ago to date. Her revelations were detailed on two earlier blogs of mine: July 27th 2013’s Thoughts: Interdimensional Overdrive and July 16th 2014’s Our Planet’s Weakening Magnetosphere.

The incredible Ben Davidson, known globally as Suspicious 0bservers, posted his own update video, ‘5 Truths About Earth’s Magnetic Reversal‘, on his website and You Tube channel:

To summarise the five truths:

Earth’s Magnetic Poles are Shifting:
Ben discusses the hastening acceleration of the poles, a fact confirmed by NASA during recent months, and speculates as to whether the future projected ‘slowdown’ is, in fact, understated.

Earth’s Magnetic Field Is Fading
The weakening of the magnetosphere is hastening. A strong degree of non-homogeneity or non-uniformity with this weakening is occurring, with one of the weakest field levels existing over the area known as the South Atlantic Anomaly (off the northern coast of Brazil).

Poles Are Moving Towards Each Other
There is a general assumption that the reversal is/will be uniform in nature (i.e., a straightforward swap). This isn’t likely to be the case. Evidence is mounting that the poles are moving towards each other – Magnetic North descending towards Magnetic South with an ultimate meeting point, which Ben ascertains to be below the equatorial region near the Indonesia Bend. This location would be fresh in the memories of those who have followed Ben for a significant period of time, especially in relation to the South Bali buoy situation. The hypothesis presented in the video suggests that if the South Pole were to remain in the region of the Bend, the North Pole’s approximate antipodean location would be off the coast of Venezuela, just between the Bermuda Triangle and the South Atlantic Anomaly.

Now… this is interesting to me. I shall share why further down the page.

Magnetic Reversals are Linked with Extinction Events
There is strong evidence to suggest that Extinction Level Events (ELEs) follow a Magnetic Reversal. A weakening magnetosphere allows the escape of oxygen from the planet, leading possibly to global hypoxia. There is the possible danger of the occurrence of a Starwater-type event, such as an ARkStorm (i.e., the Atmospheric River storm scenario/hypothesis proposed by the United States Geological Society). The Planet would  also become particularly susceptible to the effects of CMEs that would barely have caused even a dent to the magnetosphere in times past.

The Atmospheric Rivers scenario is highly reminiscent of the  ‘water in the skies’ described in the Vedic Scriptures which, if I recall correctly, is widely not believed to have been ascribed as any meteorological phenomenon noted today. Worthy of further investigation, I feel.

The Reversal May Come Sooner Than Expected
Indeed, professors at Berkeley UC have indicated that magnetic reversals can occur rapidly – within a human lifetime.

MY THOUGHTS

Prior to commencing the journey upon this particular train of thought of mine, I wish to enter a disclaimer. I have not discussed these views with Ben nor are they to be attributed to him. The following comments are my thoughts and opinions only.

My Sister and I have been discussing the Magnetic Reversal for a number of years; whilst there is a danger of sounding repetitive, I strongly feel that it is worth quoting from the July 2014 blog, ‘Our Planet’s Weakening Magnetosphere’:

Quoting from the 27 July 2013 posting: “Geomagnetic North and South Poles are wandering and will continue their meanderings until they finally decide upon a permanent move. My Sister has compared the speed of the switch as ‘comparable to the snapping of an elastic band‘. There will be no land-consuming mega-tsunami, no folding of mountains, etc. To quote my Sister, ‘there will be an abundance of auroras all over the World while the Poles are deciding where they are finally going to settle‘. That’s not to say that there won’t be effects on everyday life – there certainly would be. She has suggested a possible connection between increased volcanic/tectonic activity and magnetic instability. It stands to reason that our Planet would need to release the pressures incurred during particularly stressful transitional periods in its cycle – necessary for our Planet’s wellbeing… humans may not share that particular viewpoint.”

I have been meticulously studying the notes of my many conversations with my Sister. Interestingly, I came across the notes of one of our January 2011 conversations, during which my Sister revealed:-

–   Geomagnetic flips occur more frequently than is believed;
–   The reason the magnetosphere is weakening (i.e. the Planet’s preparation for  its geomagnetic flip);
–   Magnetic changes being ‘behind’ the increased animal deaths, human behavioural changes, increased volcanic/tectonic action and climate extremes/changes;
–   The suddenness of the changes and the fact that the reversal was fairly imminent in our timescale.”

It is worth re-reading the July 2014 blog, as it provides a link to Suspicious 0bserver’s ‘Super-Flood’ You Tube video.

What has piqued my interest, however, was Ben’s hypothesis concerning the ultimate locations of the post-reversal Poles.    A screen-capture of the video segment is provided for your information and perusal:

And now… here is an excerpt from pages 141-143, Chapter 19 of the original unpublished manuscript for ‘A Journey Into The Mysteries of Life’ – written back in 2012.  A study in siblings working together to reach a conclusion (as we have done several times) – self-explanatory and quite, quite fascinating:

“My Sister has described locations of post-Reversal magnetic poles and the potential consequences of magnetic polar shifts on the Global Weather System.

“The ‘new’ Magnetic South Pole is due to be located off the north of Brazil. The new Magnetic North Pole is going to be located off the coast of Siberia (or in that area). This will bring about changes in climate. Our country (UK), for example, is going to experience tropical wet summers and bitterly cold winters. Frequent flooding will become commonplace. These changes will seem sudden and will bring about harsh changes as the planet and mankind adjust to those changes.”

As already stated, my knowledge of geomagnetism is basically rudimentary. I shan’t even attempt to explain the physics behind the dynamics – at least not until I have become eloquently conversant in the subject matter. I do, however, understand that the magnetosphere can enter a period of flux (or chaos) throughout the duration of the reversal. Poles can effectively ‘pop up’ all over the planet while the magnetosphere is undergoing its readjustments.
For the purpose of my Sister’s messages (and the time constraints concerned), I shall stick to what I have been able to establish in relation to the locations of future poles. Referring to the trusted Antipodes Equirectangular map once more, I have already spotted a possible complication with regard to the location of the new magnetic poles. The North of Brazil is not antipodean to Siberia. That is not to say that neither location could be exempt from being a new pole after the period of readjustment – just that they couldn’t be the yin to each other’s yang at the same time.

I shall cover the Siberian magnetic pole location first. For the sake of simplicity, I won’t include latitudinal and longitudinal coordinates, but will detail the locations as best I can. As southern and western Siberia are land-locked, they can be eliminated from further investigation. However, a vast expanse of coastal area remains for me to cover. Sandwiched between the north of Siberia and the Arctic Cape/Ocean are the East Siberia, Chukchi, Laptev and Kara Seas. Tucked between the Russian Kamchatkas and the eastern Siberian coastline is the Sea of Okhotsk. The Bering Sea kisses a small area of the eastern Siberian coastline also.
If the new Magnetic North Pole eventually settled within the northern Siberian seaboard, the new magnetic South Pole would logistically settle within the Southern Ocean, just beyond Queen Maud Land in Antarctica.
If the new Magnetic North Pole eventually settled within the eastern Siberian seaboard, the new Magnetic South Pole would fall into the Scotia Sea areas. To give one a good idea of the location, the Falklands Islands, South Georgia and South Sandwich Islands regions are served by the Scotia Sea.
My Sister stated that the new Magnetic South Pole would be situated off the coast of northern Brazil. As stated above, post-readjustment, this location could not co-exist with a Siberian-based Magnetic North Pole.
It has been easier researching the proposed location of the Magnetic South Pole. The Equatorial Northern Brazilian beaches are blessed by the waters of the North Atlantic Ocean. The antipodean region (i.e., the location of the new Magnetic North Pole) are the Equatorial Bismarck and Solomon Seas, located to the north of Papua New Guinea.”

Basically, this is the scenario I envisaged back in 2012 – Magnetic North Pole would ultimately be located in the Equatorial Bismarck and Solomon Seas region, with Magnetic South being located within the South Atlantic Anomaly, off the northern Brazilian coastline:

Of course, we have witnessed the genesis of considerable meteorological change over the past few years.  My Sister maintains that the changes are linked to the geomagnetic reversal, that there will be a period of harsh changes that we will need to adapt to.  And adapt we will.

To conclude this posting, it is safe to say that my feelings remain unchanged from my July 2014 missive…

My own conclusions and my own opinions? Mankind has almost certainly observed and experienced geomagnetic reversals during its long history of life on this amazing planet. Whilst scientists, geologists and many gifted researchers have gathered evidence aplenty of the geological effects of previous geomagnetic reversals, we have not yet experienced the actual phenomenon during the history of this particular civilisation. Every single piece of evidence uncovered goes towards slotting further pieces into the veritable jigsaw puzzle that is the true fullness of life on Earth. The old adage ‘hope for the best, prepare for the worst’ might be the approach of many.

The process of geomagnetic reversal is undoubtedly underway. Rather than fearing potential cataclysm, let’s embrace the opportunities to study the phenomenon, to detail its effects for future posterity. A great mystery to be solved, beautiful sights in the skies as colourful auroras blaze in their fullest glory. Hope for the best, prepare for the worst by all means… but never, ever fear the cycle of change.
